The Mini PCIe card pcb is a small form factor board used to implement the PCI Express interface to expand embedded PC I/O. The card size is 30mm wide by 50.95mm long. The Minicard standard defines a 52-pin card edge connector. The low cost mini PCIe expansion differs from the standard versione for the umber of available I/O, limited to 32 (Only the J2 connector has been fitted). The mini PCIe board can host:

Four parallel PCIe I/O ports
User defined logic, generated using Altera QuartusII
Systems with many intellectual properties (IP), such as UART, I2C, SPI, PWM, SINCRO, FIFO Input, FIFO output, programmable bus controller and so on. The IP types, number of instances and I/O configuration wil be defined using the Fpga Easy Web Editor (FEWE).
